Well I guess I would classify Greene Co. as Southern Indiana. I am here just waiting on some topics to comment on. Is there anybody else from the Greene Co. area???

I think I have always used the south of highway 40 method of determining southern indiana, or the part that all the northern people make fun of.

Well looking at a map I am not sure what I would be considered. I consider South Bend, Gary, Ft. Wayne to be northern. Muncie, Anderson, Indy, Greenewood, Martinsville to be central and the rest to be southern. Given the option of the 3 I would take being call from "the south" any day. ;D

Look at you guys, segregating yourselves from the rest of the state! Shoot that makes about as much sense as the timezone change! Hey I went to USI for about 3 years and I love it in Evansville and Newburgh. Beautiful area, but don't insult me by saying I'm from the north because I live in Greene Co!!! ;D

It's all a matter of reference I guess. My inlaws are from Laport Co and when talking to my wife about the weather, they seem to think us living in Anderson is equal to the equator! I feel the same about you folks in Evansville!

Morgan County = "South Central" That's as bout as far as a tank of gas would get a Kentuckian traveling on 31 North way back when.
