Hello my name is Robin and I am new to hunting. This is my first season and so far I am enjoying it very much. (Even though I haven't gotten anything yet) I live in Peru Indiana and am looking for places other than missinawa to hunt in. They are just so crowded all the time.

Welcome and good luck out there. I'm sure some will chime in. Create-Post in the deer hunting section about places to hunt around Peru area. Mention how far you are willing to travel etc..

Welcome to the forum! You can ask around for places to hunt in/around Peru. If you have any friends or family that own large enough property with woods and fields you can always ask them too. Just be careful, lots of people will gladly let you hunt, while others will either have restricted access or won't let you hunt just because they either don't like hunting or have had some sort of issue with hunters in the past. I've never had to ask strangers for permission to hunt, so I don't really know about that, but there are lots of options. Are you hunting archery, firearm, or both? What do you prefer to hunt? Hope you have a good season and good luck in the woods.
