I'm just north of there in Dubois county and you are right, it doesn't get much better. Just think, I am surrounded by Perry, Spencer, Pike, Davies, Martin, Orange and Crawford counties. I can't go wrong no matter which way I go.

Hey Chucker,
I used to hunt almost exclusively up on the Tobinsport "highwater road' with my cousin, but have since hunted Orange and Lawrence counties.
I truly loved the area(watch out for those rascal turkey ticks though).
I am originally from Dubois county, but now live in Morgan county. Perry county does have a lot of game and I am sure you will have great success in the future.
P.S. If you happen upon Dan Stillwell in Cannelton, tell him Jack says hey!l

Yes, you can. It is my sad, unfortunate duty to report that there are only a handful of deer in Martin county this year and none of those are worth the drive.

Hey Chucker and Woody. I was just curious of when and Where at on Mogan Ridge you killed your deer? I live within walking distance of the West Gate, where the tower is. The first year the opened it up on a drawing basis. Where on Mogan Ridge? Dunno for sure. I walked in from the south and kept going till I got on a good looking ridge. I went off that a ways and climbed a tree. About 9:30 Mr. Buck came strolling in after a night on the town with the ladies. The rest is history...

My grandmother owns the property next to the church on the hill.
I hope to have a cabin there some day. Her oldest brother lived there , Cyril Hardesty.
