I was chasing rumors of a big buck the other night and came across some ground that is owned by the state. I do not believe it is part of Sugar Ridge, but the ground that was purchased from Interlake Steel. It was supposed to be a multi-use facility with ATV's allowed during the off season.
I got to seeing the signs and then I got to seeing different signs. These read "This property will close to all uses Febuary 1, 2006"?
Anybody know anything about this? I know the ground is loaded with some big bucks and long spurred birds. Hate to see the state loose it.

The Interlake property will continue to be owned and operated by the state. They are currently in the process of developing it for off-road use. It will be a pay-to-ride area for atvs, jeeps, etc.
