Gotta give a big shout out to the guys at Red Dawn Amory in Princeton, Indiana. I purchased a 10point cross bow in fall of 21.The Friday night before gun season while hunting with my crossbow, a front moved through the area and the temp dropped 30+ degrees within an hour. Just before the end of shooting light I heard a cracking noise come from my bow. Upon getting back to my truck I started to knock an arrow and noticed one of my limbs had splintered.Took it into Red Dawn and they were quick to get new limbs (under warranty) and installed in a timely manner. Got the bow out of the case and started shooting the first week of August with no issues. The 1st week in September I went to shoot the bow. As I cooked the bow, I noticed one of the limbs was starting to splinter. After I shot the bow I inspected the limbs, I notice both limbs has spots where the limbs started splitting again. Ran it up to Red Dawn on Sept 9th to get new limbs and they were willing to let me use a floor model until mine was fixed. Got the call this evening Sept 21 letting me know they had my bow ready. I'll pick it up Saturday and get some practice in before season comes in next week. Hopefully I'll have much better luck with the new limbs. If not, I'll have to see what 10point can do to make it right. Thanks again Red Dawn Armory

That’s good customer service. I do think I’d be questioning 10-Point’s quality at this point though.

Unfortunately, the tighter they wrap bows with high speed, the more problems they have. Not knowing what bow you have, we cant pass judgement yet, but most are cranked up pretty good nowadays.
I am more than content with my bows, 330 fps and ultra reliable for years. Same with my recurve Excals, no problems. Shooting a heavier arrow has to help soak up some of the shock.

It's more of a matter of when than if with these crossbows but most if not all of them back them up. I found out recently and at only 340fps I'm keeping my mathews handy for a backup now with some reduced draw weight now that I'm old and feeble.

I shot Tenpoint Horton at 360 FPS and it does the job. No plan on going faster. With my shoulder good, I'm going to get the compound out again. See if I can hold if for a minute or two with shaking much.
