Nice! I had a doe tempting me in my backyard Tuesday but I'm not sure what the neighbor would think about it. lol

Earning that buck early on! yeah this property I don't have a lot of dough but I try to get mine early as possible because there's been many years I haven't and had to pass on several very good bucks. about 4 years ago I had a giant 8-pointer in my area within 30 yards for probably 5 minutes with three other bucks and I could not shoot because I didn't have a die kill |

Most of my neighbors hunt or have hunted but I have one that I know as soon as I shoot that doe she'll run over and die in that lady's yard. I'd never hear the end of it, I do hsve reason for retribution though, the last 2 years those deer have used my tomato plants as a salad bar. It's September and I JUST got my first tomato this year. I gave up on them after the second trip the deer took to the salad bar, they must have found something else to eat. I won't try tomatoes next year maybe peppers but I hear they eat those too. |
