Glad to see the Bucks following Doe the last 2 days, several scrapes seem to have appeared overnight, Sunday PM Parked my Explorer next to some evergree trees in a slight Gully at about 3 PM ,when I returned AT 6:30 there was a huge rub on a small tree not 25 feet from the front of my vehicle, guess I should have set in my vehicle for the evening hunt.
Saw 5 bucks this weekend although the total number of deer observed was down. This could be due to the big bright moon shining all night. Checking my hunting log for the last 2 years ,found deer activity and movement is usually down around the full moon .Saw one fork horn with both antlers going straight down beside his head, make it kind oh hard to eat off the ground.
Had a chance to take a 6 pointer that was big bodied at about 20 yards ,but thought let him grow ,he will be great if he makes it thru untill next year.

I`ve always read the same thing-that deer movement is not as heavy during shooting time with a full moon.
Conversely-I`ve read that the deer will move, but it`s more during the midday hours.
Keep that hunting log going-it will provide you with real world data.
