Looking at a .350 legend and trying to decide if I should get the 20 or 22 inch barrel. Not sure if really makes that much difference. Thoughts?

When you look through the offerings, it appears that barrels around 16" and 22" are the most common.
According to the things I've read, the 22" barrels will add roughly 100 fps over the 16" barrels and the difference between 20" and 22" would be negligible.
I would choose the rifle I liked best and not worry about a few fps one way or another.
Good luck with your purchase.

What ever one has wood stock and factory sights. Thanks. That's so helpful. What kind of wood? Plywood?

www.henryusa.com/caliber/350-legend/I've really been wanting one of these. I figure you're looking at an AR though, nothing wrong with that either. I would probably go 20", just because you don't really lose any significant velocity, but you do gain some maneuverability.

Needs to be something Cabela's sells because I have a bunch of points.

I picked up an xpr titanium 350 legend last year and have enjoyed it. It can with the 22" barrel. Gladly meet you and let you try it out. Since your near Lafayette, I can meet you anywhere from Terre Haute or further north if you want.

I know where you live. I hunted your place a long time ago during turkey season when I was visiting my wife's sister in Evansville. Remember that?

I sure do! I know it's a haul, but the offer stands. If you decide you want to try it out, let me know and I'll gladly make a road trip to Lafayette or anyplace in between.
Btw....I used it opening day in one of those rare snows in Southern Indiana. Took one of the management bucks we wanted out of the gene pool. 75-80 yard shot, 180 grain soft point. He went 10 feet and dropped.
It is a fun rifle to shoot.

I like short barrels so I’d go as short as I possibly can. Maybe even get it threaded for a can.

If you find something you want but it's available @ BassPro, you should be able to have it shipped to your local Cabelas and still use your points.

I like the way walnut guns look, but I don't care for the scratches and dings that are a part of hunting with them. Polymer isn't pretty but it holds up better in the woods.

Those dents and scratches just buff right out.
