I hunt in Cass County just North and West of Logansport and the corn and beans are disappearing rapidly. The bean field and cornfield I walk through to enter and exit my hunting area are BOTH harvested. The corn is usually still out until firearms season.

The annual carnage of deer / vehicle collisions is starting to pick-up in my area as the crops are 75 percent harvested.

95% of the beans seem to be harvested over in Hendricks Co, but there still is quite a bit of corn still standing....this weekend rain will slow things down for the farmers. I'm hoping they get some dry weather this week to work the fields before the next cold snap. I've heard we might get some snow flurries by late in the week!
