I’m finally back in China as I type. Wife is Chinese and we have homes in both LaPorte & Sichuan, but have not been able to visit in 3 1/2 years due to Covid. Now flights still very high priced due to low supply & Ukraine war. But prices will drop $1,000 to about $1,700 this fall and to $1,300 during winter. Not the pre-Covid $540 but in the right direction. Hoping for some normalcy and resumption of Chicago-Chengdu nonstop on Hainan soon. Found a Chinese spy balloon while scouting this spring but can’t post photo due to PB charging fees. |
