I've pretty well worn LaCrosse rubber boots ever since I started deer hunting. Back then they weren't even what you would call hunting boots. More like what farmers wore when it got muddy. They were olive drab colored and zero insulation. They were called Grange boots..
Later on I switched to the camo "hunting boots". My Alpha Burleys finally gave up the ghost after 10+ years. The most comfortable boots I ever have worn. Academy had LaCrosse Aeroheads on sale for $113 so I bought a pair. I wore them opening day of the turkey season and they were the most uncomfortable boots I had ever worn. I only walked about a half mile in them and they were wearing on my shins. I don't know if they were not flexing properly or what, but I was about ready to take them off and walk out barefooted.
I sent an email to LaCrosse customer service explaining my problem. I got back very prompt and courteous responses.
I filled out an online form and they then asked me to send them to their location. I did and they issued me a $246 online store credit!
I just ordered a pair of the LaCrosse Alpha Burley Pro boots and had enough left over to buy a pair of boot socks. Hopefully these will be as comfortable as my old Alpha Burleys.
I'm well pleased with their customer service!

I am like you Woody have always worn Lacrosse, but this year I got a pair of Lite Boots. Man as the name says those suckers are light. I have not worn my Lacrosse since I have gotten these.

Ordered my boots yesterday and they were on my porch today!
The Alpha Burly Pro boots are a bit tighter than my old Alpha Burleys. Might be because they are new?
Going to buy a boot puller. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? A 1"x8" piece of wood about 15" long with a V cut in it with a block of wood fasten under it so the V is tilted up make a cheap but well-working boot puller.
