Is it done any differently than during Shotgun? The guy who invited me for centerfire bailed, so I STILL don't have a clue...

I'm in the North East corner of the state and most hunters use the same tactics as shotgun.
In my opinion, the best tactic to get a deer is to find the food source and set up a little ways off of it. The deer seem to like to come into picked cornfields right at dark.
Good Luck, Robert

I've been out a few times during ML already..... I'm in Elkhart county.
HUNT THE FOOD SOURCES....plain and simple. Espcially when it's colder and their's snow on the ground.

Just came, saw 7 tonight, they came into a cut cornfield with about 45 mins left of legal shooting time left. I saw where they came out from and I will use my climber tomorrow evening near that spot. I could have shot a small doe, but I passed. The others didn't come into range in time. I was sitting 10yds off the edge. If it was colder they MIGHT show up a tad earlier. Solohunter
