First 2 day trip is in the bag and it was a good one.
We have become spoiled with 6 man limits of Walleyes in just a few hours, so this trip is was back to having to figure them out.
Day #1 was very windy and very bumpy it takes a while to get your sea-legs but the fishing was good just not the numbers we have become used to but the size and weight more than made up for it.
Day #2 flat calm, sunny and the skies were clear.
We had to make 3 moves but we did better than day #1 in numbers and in size.
We caught a couple 8 pound fish with Schall53 leading the way with a beautiful #8+ pounder.
Other charters were struggling also with about the same numbers.
Yours truly achieved a personal best with a MONSTER SHEEPHEAD ... ( released ).
Our 2 day tally was 46 fish weighing 137 pounds producing just about 50 pounds of boneless meat.
We cut cards for the CHEEKS and WINGS this year the luck GODS were looking down on me because I won all the cheeks and1 bag of wings.
Trip #2 coming up in June with Schall 53 our fishing buddy Bruce, Deadeer with his son Luke and Esshup.
