Budd,
I know Minnesota is a big state but I do know a feller up there that guides bear hunters. I knew him when he used to Be a distributor for XI bows.
His name is Bruce Hudalla. Do you by chance know him?

Know of him, he no longer guides I believe. Lives a couple hours south of me and still into bow hunting. XI Legend Magnum was probably my favorite all time bow.

I think he is more active guiding for deer and turkeys on his place in Missouri - Hallowed Grounds Lodge/Outfitters. XI was the bow back then. I was good friends and hunting buddy with the National Sales Manager for XI. Thus I had a half dozen or so XIs over the years. The Legend Magnum was smooth shooting for sure. I got to meet and become friends with Myles Keller through XI. We still converse with each other today.

It is ashamed that XI went under. We sold and serviced 100's XI bows back when we had an archery shop. We sold more XI bows than any other brand. I'm not sure but I think I still have my old XI Flatliner bow somewhere.

I'm not sure but I think I still have my old XI Flatliner bow somewhere. They were great bows. I remember the dry fire demonstration XI put on at the ATA show in 1996 (I think) . They dry fired that bow over 5,000 times with zero problems That got a lot of attention!! Woodmaster has my last XI bow. He was going to use it for bow fishing. Not sure what model it is

I gave my Xi legend to a young man I coached in little league his parents didn't hunt but he was interested in archery so I donated him the bow with a few quick lessons on shooting and sight adjustment. 10 years later he still bowhunts. Not sure if it's with the Xi or not.

I had the Legend Magnum and Legacy. My Magnum did split a limb but they sent me a new one. They were in production when the overdraw's were a big deal. Sure enjoyed hitting all the weekend archery competition. My brother and I sure shot a lot to stay on top of our game, constantly tuning our bows, fletching arrows, paper tuning, even had our own Apple Bow press.

Since I was last online my wife has seen bears 8,9,10, Ive seen bear 11. My wife got a picture of bear 9. She works on the Red Lake Nation Reservation where bears are protected. We also had a visitor to the bird feeder, he also tore the windows off my deer shack where we keep our fryer grease for bear baiting. Made a real mess in there.
