I'm gonna have to sit out Wednesday. Last day to take care of my moms cat, then take her car back to church about 25mi from home. So if I hunted, I'd be so shot for work it wouldnt even be funny.

Just came out to my hunting spot to try to roost a bird and the field is being planted right now. It's a big field. I hope they get it all done tonight.

I got all my gear ready to go. Alarm set for 3:00am so I have time for my bible reading and making breakfast. I have all my game processing equipment out in the shop and the garden hose stretched out there so I don't have to mess with it in the morning. Mainly so I don't wake my wife up in the event I do connect early tomorrow morning.
I cannot wait to get out there in the morning!

It's gonna be a cold one in the morning here up north. We are in a freeze warning until 8am. I'll be dressed for the occasion and ready for whatever the hunt may bring!

I watched three toms and three hens go into the woods just about 20 yards from my blind. I'm assuming they'll be roosted close by. I'll have to be extra quiet getting set up.
I know "roosted ain't roasted" but, I think the only thing that'll mess the morning up is me. I'll have to be quiet, patient and try to resist calling too much.
