Our hunt ended up ruined by a poaching/trespasser. It was a grown man by himself and he literally shot at the bird we were trying to work out of the field. Buddy called the field owner and he said no one should be there. Luckily he missed the bird and it started making a straight line to us, but the guy got up and walked all over the field scaring it off. It was fun while it lasted, but that made me mad. Could been a Big Youth but they can’t be hunting alone on youth weekend an adult is required.Trespassing is never good! |

Good point.....we've got a freshman that is 6'4 285 (no redshirting either!), eats hay and poops bales.

Not only was he trespassing he was hunting out of season unless it was just a big kid idk but should of had someone older with him if it was a kid |

If it was a Youth I say he thought he had permission…. Just a matter of who gave it to him.

If he drives there back out and get his plates or let the air out two tires and call the CO bad enough trespassing and out of season but during youth season says a lot about him probably all I need to know to form a opinion |

There are 6 turkeys in the neighbor's field across the road, at least 4 are toms. Probably the ones we heard gobble this morning.
Daughter is wore out, we're not gonna sit on our side and hope they come up here to roost. Maybe they'll be closer tomorrow.

Love reading all the stories from today. Looks like we’re not making it out this weekend. The girls are doing real good in the softball tournament. Definitely playing into tomorrow but that’s all good. We’re enjoying it!
