One food plot is close to 900 feet away and roughly 20 feet higher in elevation than the pond, the other food plot is also aout 900 feet from a pond but the hose would have to go over a driveway. It’d take some hose, but doable. Worth it for the long term investment!

Which one is going in the freezer. Not the one with spots. The deer the past few weeks are plentiful under the oaks in the front yard.

First sit on my “unlucky charms “ plot. Planted a logging road that had pretty good sunlight exposure, but rain just didn’t cooperate when I tried to plant it a couple months ago. Little bit of clover came up but not a ton. I’m sure more will get with the program next year. I seeded rye into it a few weeks ago and some of it is up. Hoping the deer loop around this way to or from the neighbors pond.
There is a 4 year old over here that I wouldn’t pass up with my bow , so fingers crossed a doe follows my script instead of him 🤣
Ready to see how my new arrow setup does on deer. I’m shooting an easton axis with a 150g magnus stinger and a lit nock. I believe she’s right around 530 ish grains.

Hey man, I sincerely appreciate that ! It’s a lot of work to put just the shorts out and mind blowing how hard it is to get people to subscribe (even Facebook friends 🤣). Any and all interaction on the page helps (subscribing , liking, commenting , or just watching the videos). I’ll be putting out more habitat / food plot Shorts content between todays sit and my next. Currently figuring out the editing process on the longer form of content. I have video from the whole year that I plan to get up eventually. Worked together with the landowners and loggers to select cut my main hunting property (good chunk of $$$ in the landowners pocket ) and I opened the canopy even more by removing some junk timber. I cut some additional bedding areas on a few properties in key locations, planted around 9-10 total acres of food plots (in a desert it felt like 🤣) , documented my travel corridor / scrape creation / cell camera wins and fails , etc etc. Lots of content to get out and every week there is more. I wanted to do the EVERY SINGLE SIT playlist because I wanted to have some sort of content current while I get the long form stuff put out there. I don’t sugar coat things and I’m not a perfect hunter , so it should make for some laughs at least 🤣 like tonight … my GoPro somehow ended up on the ground for 75% of my sit 🤦♂️🥷🏿 Thank you for subscribing and I’ll do my best to make it worth your time 💪💪

Almost October 1st and next month will be a great one this year. Can't wait and get some time off! For some reason I'm more looking forward to this season. Almost like the 1st few years. I guess the two new stand locations have me a little excited and more comfortable stands. Looking forward to many meditation prayer hours!

Finally the rains have came. 1.5" y'day, a half inch overnight, and just got close to another 1" this morning. Almost 3" in last 48 hours. Have about 4 acres of ground/plots I need to till and seed to cereal rye and oats, even going to seed some brassicas. 14 day forecast is above normal temps, mostly 80s forecasted this coming week so should germinate quickly. At least the fields won't be bare and some food sources available over winter and this coming spring.

Got a couple of pumpkins on my food plots but they are somewhat stunted. Hopefully the rains energize them.

Am I ready? Not really, but not missed a bow opener in awhile. Have a big one tied up, hopefully doesn't get lose. Lol Good luck to everyone this season, and please wear safety gear if hunting out of treestands.

I’m going out tomorrow morning for opening then let it cool down a bit and go again Thursday. Hunting antlers this year since I cannot eat the meat.
