Activity really starting to pick up in my neck of the woods (2 miles south of the MI line). Drive 35 miles to work each way and seeing more/more deer in the fields. Both beans and corn are starting to come down in certain areas.
Have seen a few early scrapes and coupld of rubs. The low tonight is 37 degrees! ;D
Can't wait until Saturday!

Howdy all. I hunt Marshall county and have seen a jump in activity with the cooler weather. Seen more rubs early this year then ever before.

Welcome dog...Marshall county has some REAL nice areas...I have some buddies down that way. One a couple miles east of Lake Max. and one east of 31. Both are great properties!
Good luck to you this season, Jon

Did some scouting last week and found about 1/2 dozen rubs and probably about 12 - 15 scrapes. This was on about 18 acres of woods. Really surprised at seein so much so early.

Saw two nice does tonight on old 31 heading into Argos. The cooler weather definitely has them moving. Hey Dog where are you in Marshall County? Rey
