I made a couple wingbone calls over the weekend since the weather was crappy. Two years ago, I lost the original one I made, and missed it since. I've killed a couple longbeards with mine, so wanted to get another one made up and give it another go. Got the cool factor.  |

I've always wanted to make one of those. Good work! Kinda relaxing. Not much to them. Couple youtube videos for pointers, then you can be as creative as you need to be. Hen and jake wings seem to be the best sound in my opinion. Probably the smaller size gives a squeakier pitch. Fun fun. |

I have made many wing bone calls over the years for family and friends. I agree that hen wing bones make a better sound, at least to my ear. You can make them as fancy and pretty as you please but honestly it doesn’t make them sound any better, I’ve even made them out of chicken bones just for fun.  |

My bro-n-law made me 1 20ish yrs ago. Never used it just hangs in my garage. Maybe I will get motivated this year...probably not
