I remember someone posting jokingly about sneaking onto Essup’s pond. Saw this and thought it funny.

There's a reason why there is a rifle range next to the pond!

There's a reason why there is a rifle range next to the pond! AND deer stands within reach! 😎

How true. If I ever catch anyone on either of my ponds he’d better know how to swim…..

Serious question...is that a bad problem in Indiana? I couldn't imaging setting foot on anybody's place without permission, but then I try not to be a criminal.

Depends how close the pond is to your home...or how good the fishing is!

Serious question...is that a bad problem in Indiana? I couldn't imaging setting foot on anybody's place without permission, but then I try not to be a criminal. It all depends on the area and the low lifes in the area. I've had someone bucket stock fish in a customers pond "for them" and it is a good 1/2 mile or more from any other houses. I've also had a pond fished out too - no bass left in the pond. The bucket stocked pond had to be rotenoned and the pond owner had to re-stock all the fish again.

About 15 years or more ago a group of guys I believe it was 5 but they would watch peoples homes and keep track of the owners schedule once they felt they had it down they would go fish the pond catch every thing they could clean it and then sell it to people nobody knew they had been had unless they fished the pond by then didn’t matter they had cleaned it out I don’t remember all the details but it seems like they wiped out like 80 ponds maybe more Again I’m not sure but I believe they sold a bunch to a bar restaurant for fish fry’s and a food inspector caught the bar without the proper inspection or along that line and the owner rolled on them I think that’s how it went it was odd how they got caught I do remember that but it’s been sometime back

Anybody that didn't do a little sneaking in to fish off limits places when you were a kid, missed some fun growing up

Unless I am missing something, there really isn't much that is against the law when political leaders make excuses and police are prohibited/afraid to take action. See the stories from last weekend in Chicago. The idiot-elect (incoming mayor) claimed that the "teen takeover" of an area in downtown was the result being "denied opportunities in their own communities." What in the world does that mean? Were they afraid to cause a stir where they live because the gangs don't want the police to have a reason to snoop around? In Louisville, the mayor and police continue to tippy-toe around an epidemic (among many other societal issues) of street racing. It's simple to me, lock 'em up and impound their vehicles.

All I know is that if I was in that situation (Chicago mob), I'd mash the gas to get out of there and anybody in front of the better be running like hell to get out of the way or they'd be looking like bowling pins. No way would I sit there and get attacked without moving away.

I have not heard any of that but I don't pay much attention to things outside of my area. Last flash mob I heard of was years ago where a bunch of folks would start singing and dancing. Seemed harmless but understand your point better.
