John Collins Knot. Easy, won't fail. That is what I tie, except I do 10 twists each way. Not sure why other than that is how I was taught. Also was told it was Albright knot but I never was good with names. All I know is it works, fast and easy to tie and slim. Only issue is when cottonwood is blooming and that almost makes fishing painful anyways I just do 5 wraps up, and 5 down. Have caught fish to 85 lbs with no issue. That knot could have several names, I have no idea. I just know it's easy and works.

Does our John Collins know a knot was named after him? I wondered that too. He probably invented it.
