Shot shells costing 20 bucks a round. Really!!!!! Where does it end? I don't know why but it bothers me that people think they can shoot a turkey at 60 yards and beyond with these loads. Call them in close and you can kill them with 2 3/4 inch number 6 shot.

I’ve yet to spend the money on the shells, but if people want to pay it I say use them for the advantage they give. Don’t think they buy them to make 5 yard shots as you wouldn’t have much turkey left. I like turkey gobbles to blow my hat off they’re so close, but others like to see how far they can stretch the shot if necessary.

I bought a 10 guage several years ago, X-Full turkey choke. I've tried a couple types of shells and max out at about 40 yards. I haven't tried TSS yet.
I did shoot mine at around 40 last year.

Old standby.. Remington 870 3” Mag 12 gauge. Predator camo dipped, ShurShot stock, .665 extended Rhino choke, topped with a Simmons 2X ProDiamond scope.I’ve been shooting Nitros and MagBlends out of it. I’ve got a few TSS on order just for funs. Knock on wood - I’ve never missed or just dinged a turkey with it.

Doesn't get much cheaper and shot birds out to 50 yards. No way I'd pay that much a round just to gain another 10-15 yards
