Got this guy on my trail cam a few days ago. I've got other pics of him but they are blurry enough to know it's a fox but not what kind. I'm pretty sure it's a grey.

Looks like a Red to me. Darker legs and tail than the body color. I have a pair of Reds here that have a den somewhere East of here.

Always heard the reds have a white-tipped tail.

Always heard the reds have a white-tipped tail. Yes they have a white tip on the tail which I don't see.

Definitely a red. Greys don’t have a rounded tail plus they’re tails have a dark edge on the top.

I found a dead Red Fox in the back food plot a few days ago. Unbelievably skinny. No sign of bullet holes. I just tossed it into the woods. I believe it was dead for about a week or so, it wasn't freshly dead. Thinking about it now, I will go take a look at the teeth to see how worn down they are the next time I'm back there. It sure won't be in the next couple of days with this weather!!

Buddy hit a Grey fox with his truck in rush co couple years ago. First one I'd seen since I was a kid. Need to protect them and open a limited season on bobcat imo

I used to have one that hung out in the back yard years ago. I get way more pictures of bobcats than foxes now. It's pretty rare to get one on camera anymore.
