If any of you know of any special needs kids that would like to join us for our hunt please contact John or I . There is no cost to them or their family. We don't really hold to an age requirement but try to keep it under 17 years old. However, we have taken hunters as old as 21, this young man was sick his entire youth ...so we made his hunt happen. I hope to hear from a lot of you.
Thanks Terry

For those of you who don't know Terry, he is a Captain with the Angola Fire Department and one of my partners in putting together the youth hunt. He's also a dad and an uncle (and a grandpa ) and an expert at passing down the hunting heritage to our youth.

TJ, I corresponded with Greendeem last year and offered to volunteer for the hunt this coming season. I am getting ready to work at a burn camp in August and I will ask around to see if any one would like to hunt. There used to be a kid a couple of years ago that hunted with his father but I haven,t seen him for a few a few camps. Please keep me posted about the hunt this season and if you still are in need of someone to take a kid out you can count on me .

TG and Greendeem,
I'm trying ot get a youth disabled hunt going in Miami Co. The landowner is asking some questions that you guys might be able to answer for me...
His biggest concern is liability. He wants me to get an insurance binder for the youth weekend. Do you guys do this? Do you find your kids just by word of mouth ?

Hunter7x, we do not carry any type of insurance binder, but we do a release of liability. When we checked into it , since we do not lease the land our kids hunt on, the landowner is protected by state law. If you would like a copy of our release I would be happy to send you one. Most of our kids are word of mouth. Due to HIPPA laws organizations can not give you contact information , they can however give your name and contact info to the families of these wonderful kids. I am hoping that all of us doing these hunts can network our kids and give them options for hunting. Kids from southern Indiana going to the north end of state and vise versa. If we can help you get your hunt started let us know. Sorry it took so long to reply, it has been a crazy summer.

30pointbuck, I have not recieved any emails from her. We are just about booked for kids so remind her, please. Let her know this weekend does not cost the family a penny, we cover all expenses. Tags if needed, meals and lodging. Family members are welcome to stay. And we do plan events for the family members so they can relax for a change.

I was just curious how everything was coming along for this year. Looks like it was a huge success last year.
