www.fortwayne.com/mld/journalgazette/sports/13964480.htmDepartment of Natural Resources director Kyle Hupfer has announced that hunters bagged 125,526 deer during the 2005 season. That’s an increase of more than 2,000 over the previous high mark of 123,086 in 1996. The 2005 total included fewer bucks than in 2004 but more antlerless deer – does and young males without antlers. The DNR placed an emphasis on antlerless deer in 2005 by liberalizing regulations to increase bag limits. “We are very pleased by the results from this most recent deer season,” Hupfer said. “We continue to have a very strong and healthy wild deer population. “I want to thank Indiana hunters for doing their part to assist the DNR in the management of the deer herd. We asked for their help, and they delivered.” There were 52,490 bucks taken in 2005, a 4 percent drop from 2004. The 2005 percent increase from 2004. antlerless total – 73,036 – represented a 7 percent increase from 2004.

Thanks Woody, that was a good read.
They had some havest totals for northern Indiana counties. Can anyone post the state-wide county by county numbers for '05 yet? These were the first county numbers I have seen.
