 Forgot to take a good photo till we were at the truck. Us big kids didn’t shoot any better than our kids, still managed 7, all green wings. Fun morning, lots of shooting all around. |

In a area that would normally sound like a Chicago city neighborhood on a hot July weekend...I only heard 2 shots.

In a area that would normally sound like a Chicago city neighborhood on a hot July weekend...I only heard 2 shots. I might have thought we were in the Ukraine this morning for all the shots we heard. Headed to our home pond tomorrow, tougher shooting with trees all around the pond. When they come down low on the pond at first light, its hard to pick them up again. Will report back tomorrow, hopefully with a few less shells. |

 Seems like the more they shoot, the worse it gets. Several shots at woodies and mallards, but this big fat goose was the only bird that went down. It was harder shooting with birds zipping down and trees as a backdrop. Still a fun morning. |
