I found a Hen of the Woods yesterday, so it looks like the recent rain made them pop.

I found a Hen of the Woods yesterday, so it looks like the recent rain made them pop. I looked last week and didn’t see any, I think with the recent rain and temperature in the 60s they should be growing.

I have one hen that I am watching. It was small when I harvested the one next to it, then it hardened up in the dry weather last few weeks. Now with the rain I will see if it softens up and grows. If not, I will remember that tree for next year.
