It’s on the reserved hunt page.
Indiana Private Lands Access (IPLA) Squirrel and Youth Deer: IPLA will offer reserve hunts for squirrel and youth deer. Hunt dates and locations can be seen when applying.

Does anyone have any feedback on these tree rat hunts. Are they any good?

I’m not sure. Personally until a week or so a go I never heard of it. I do believe that it’s all on Private Property , for me it’s about a 3.5 hour drive one way . So I put in for the draw . So that means I get up to get ready at Midnight and leave around 1:00 am .

Things were looking really good till Monday when some really big storms blew through the area. The dove population disappeared over night, still plenty around but not near what it was. I am willing to guess that Willow Slough, Kankakee, Kingsbury and Winamac were effected by this storm.

If they run into the power line and fall, does that go against the daily limit?

I spent the first 2 hours of LST today staring at birdless skies at a spot that 1 week ago had great potential. I packed up and headed home to try another location this afternoon.

Relocated to a Plan B field and managed 6 for today. The best part about this little shoot was me getting the chance to work my new pup "WING". It's difficult to get young dogs to retrieve doves especially for their first birds. Doves don't have much scent trail and they have loose feathers that stick to a dogs mouth but despite all this my lil pup retrieved all 6 doves. Now needless to say I am a proud PAPA right now.
I'll be back at it tomorrow.

Good deal. Wing looks like a great dog in the making. We had a GSP in the field with us that was having a hard time finding birds but did pull a few out of the tall weeds.
