Rained all day and throughout this evening. I need to get my rain gauge back out.
I'm glad you're taking the weekend off Jay. I'm sure you could use the break.

I saw Daffodils in full bloom yesterday. That is the earliest I have ever seen them bloom in Northern Indiana. I used to travel down to Pall Mall Tennessee for the Alvin York OTL shoot this time of year. It was central Kentucky before I would see Daffodils in bloom. Are you guys in the south finding Morals yet? Or just not saying anything?😁

My brother near Denver says they are expecting a major snowfall overnight, 12-24" projected.

Daffodils been up down here for a good bit. My peach tree is starting to bloom out now, which just means we will get another hard frost and kill it off like the last couple years.

Dogwoods are out in Terre Haute. I couldn't believe my eyes. And the invasive honeysuckle is greening up. This is crazy!

Dogwoods?
Lots of Bradford pears blossoming out down here but my resident Dogwood barely has leaves much less blossoms.

Comming home today saw a maple in full bloom about 1/2 mile from the house and sitting out back enjoying the weather the buzzards ate back and roosting in the woods behind the house

You are correct - Callery and Bradford pears not dogwoods. Still early though.

I thought that hail was going to take out the front windows of my house this morning. It covered the back porch rather quickly.

I'm grafting to make queen cells today, it's so crazy early. Last 5 years early to mid April I could graft. Most hives have male drone bees walking now for two weeks. Those boys will be flying in a week or so. Red buds and serviceberry ready to bloom. So are the wild cherry trees. Maples are finished and the daffodils are about finished.

At 10:30 am it was so dark that all the houses that had dusk to dawn lights had the lights turn on. Pretty good lightening show this morning, so far I've had 3/4" rain. We need it plus about 6" more inches.

Looks like a strong line of storms. Pray there are no tornados or straight line winds.

I will get a picture of these blooming trees. They are not the pears although I can see them about to open.
