This weather warm then cold is good for my bee business. The bees are flying and searching for food and there is only a little. Skunk Cabbage, snow drops and witch hazel. Maybe some maples in the southern half. Bees will be consuming all the food stores and may die around the end of the month. Sell those nuc hives.

Silver maple trees started blooming today, calm and 60 degrees. Bee bringing in a lot of pollen. Maples, witch hazel, snow drops and skunk cabbage all blooming. Early spring like weather. Love it.

The 1" of rain that we were supposed to get never materialized, a few drizzle sprinkles and that was it. Not even enough to wet concrete.

Tornadoes in Wisconsin! Another sunny day here in suburban Ari. My granddaughter and I said the pledge of Allegiance to a gently waving flag.

Woke up last night at 2:30 to weather siren going off and 1” hail. Bill, I never heard or saw a thing. Looking at my deck and back yard, if we got anything it wasn’t much.

Sure hope we get a wet spring up here. These temps are crazy, we had rain all day Wednesday. I have never seen my yard void of snow in February since I've lived here.

Mother Nature thinks it's spring in my area. The maple trees are blooming. So are the witch hazel, skunk cabbage and snow drops. I even saw a redwing black bird. 50 today, 45 tomorrow and 52 valentine day. The 10 day only shows two cooler days. Not bad for February.

Sunny and a cool 27' in suburban Ari. Frosty with a very gentle breeze. There were 2 hen robins fighting yesterday. I have not seen the Bluebirds since the cold spell. I am looking forward to their return.

Saying a few inches of snow Fri night into Sat morning for us in the NW.
My old neighbor buddy, RIP, always said spring was here not by the Robin's, but when you see skunks out and about. Well, seen several ones hit on the roadways last few days and their smell filling the air.
