Trace of snow here and 22.
I participated in the Derby Festival 10k yesterday morning and then was dumb enough to agree to a neighborhood yard golf match in the afternoon. Two of the worst (that's saying a lot) decisions that I have made in recent history. I was frozen all day.

Still winter. Not until this evening. Tomorrow is 1st Day of Spring. Today is about 0.3 of a day of spring. One more day! The American calendar says today is spring…. and it's wrong. Spring equinox is today at 5:25 pm, but 1st day is tomorrow. A lot of calendars don't understand the English language. They could say spring starts today.

Let me clarify the English language: Tomorrow is the first FULL day of spring, but spring STARTS today.

Typical. The radar showed heavy green color here yesterday, I dind't even need to wipers to drive 15 miles. This morning the concrete is damp, absolutely no puddles anywhere.

If we get the predicted over 4” of rain between Thursday and Friday we may not be able to go anywhere for a couple days with the flooding that will happen. That last 2” rain we got had water all over the roads and made driving difficult.

Awoke to 5 inches of fresh wet snow!! Extended weather looks good for daytime highs above freezing, but this snow is going nowhere because the lows are still below freezing for the next two weeks. Guess I'll have to keep ice fishing!!
