Fellas?! Whoa! What kind of person are you to assume it's going to be a fella? For you know "it" may decide it wants to grow up to be a non binary turkey, transgender bobcat or a raccoon that swings both (or all 7 ways, I can't keep track). Check your toxic masculinity before posting on here please. . . . . .😉🤪😁

I have a pic on my phone of one that had it's head buried in a hollow tree near a pond I stocked last week. "I can't see you, you can't see me" The rest of it's body was on a mowed lawn........

Mowed hay all day yesterday. Jumped a couple fawns who were pretty mobile, HIT ZERO as I am always on lookout. Did see remains of 2 fawns that did'nt make it. I suspect (Black head buzzards) were responsible. They are really bad in SE IN.

While weed eating pond turned around to catch a buck crossing the field behind me. He was a bigun. Clearly see that rack already.

Noticed this little guy as I was tedding hay this evening in a adjacent alfalfa field I cut yday. Some buzzards were circling and 1 landed a few feet away from it , so I stopped and walked over to see what was going on. Chased buzzard off and checked fawn out. She was fine and I relocated her back into a fencerow just a few feet away. Always something.

(STUPID PEOPLE) Hello, Those buzzards would have ate it alive in short order. These black head vultures (I think is what they are called) are killers. Neighbor had them eat eyes and tongue out of one of his calves last spring. Lady was worried mom wouldn't find it.. LOL I simply moved it back into fencerow 10 yards away.

Last years mast crop was terrible, a late frost killed off most here locally. Oaks are looking good this year though.

More deer food. Have tons and tons wild black raspberries, blackberries, and several mulberry trees spread out across farm. Deer love them all. The raspberries and mullberries are just turning .
