Question for the guys that use them. What size do you use, and what fish are you fishing for with that sized leech?

We've been using the water leeches the last few years. Probably between the size of your pinkie and index finger. We used them for walleye, but everything hits them and they are tough.

I prefer mediums for walleye. I get all I need with just a couple traps.

We use the heck out of leeches for walleye, bass, perch, rock bass, etc. Bigger crappie and bluegill will also not hesitate to grab them. 2" - 3" long leeches (when in the water) seem about right.

I've used smaller sized before and caught largemouth, walleye, crappie, bluegill, and northern pike on them. One of my favorite live baits.
