They are snows I got a good look at them tonight I just happened to come home earlier today to drop a trailer and seen them on the pond. I honestly don’t ever remember seeing them around here but I’m not a big waterfowl hunter either, snows are one of the few I’ve hunted went out by mound city I believe is the name it’s a big flyway stop over for ducks geese swans. They tell me at any given time that over a million birds could be resting there during migration it’s something to see we drove around the area looking at them. Yep...lots of snows over there. I hunted near Carlisle Lake in south central IL. Each time I had never seen as many geese. It’s truely unbelievable just how many birds were in that area they had reports on the radio One year we seen the snows do a tornado that is one h of a sight to see something I’ll never forget Another year we had a flock take off and the sky dang near went dark because they blocked out the sun I just couldn’t even tell you how many it was but they covered the sky as far as you could see
