I borrowed the rack from my buck from my taxidermist (Hoosier Trapper Supply), to take it to the expo to have it officially measured. It made the book. It grossed 151 2/8 and netted 142 2/8. I knew it would be close on the net. Here is one more picture before I take it back to the shop.

nice rack. im sure that will make for an impressive mount.............definately understand the "itchy" feeling of "cant wait for it to get back from the taxidermist" youll will like the work that hoosier trapper supply does...............excellent work. i was really satisfied with this guy in '02 the detail was incredible i thought. down to the wiskers ! camoham

Camo, This will be my second mount and Hoosier Trapper did the other one as well. I was very happy with it. It sits on a cabin wall between two other mounts (my father in law's and brother in law's) that were done by another taxidermist. They paid a lot less than I did, and it shows. That is one thing I don't want to skimp on. There are places that are cheaper and places that will get them done faster, but you usually get what you pay for. Mr. Mashek at Hoosier Trapper has done right by me. His showroom is quite impressive too. If you haven't been there since 2002 you need to go visit. He has done some great things with his showroom, including three full body mounts of nice bucks jumping a fence.
