Anybody heard anything more about this?
I remember seeing where it was proposed and they were going to discuss, but I can't find anything on it now that it has dropped off the proposal list to view on the DNR site. Having no luck just Googling it.
The idea makes sense due to the fact that even smaller caliber muzzleloaders have as much or more lethality that a .410 slug that has been legal for ages now.

I asked and got this response…. The Natural Resources Commission staff sent your email to me since it was the Division of Fish and Wildlife that offered that suggestion regarding the change for muzzleloader calibers for public comment. We received hundreds of comments through our Got Input process last year, and we have to go through a number of approvals before posting responses online and moving forward with any changes to the administrative code (rule) as a result. We hope to have the response to this idea, as well as others, online within the next few months and start the rule change process with those that are approved. Please let me know if you have any questions. Linnea Linnea Petercheff Licensing and Permits Supervisor Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Fish and Wildlife 402 W. Sad bureaucracy; "we have to go through a number of approvals before posting responses online "

Sad bureaucracy; "we have to go through a number of approvals before posting responses online " Since the proposals are still just that, they really can't post a response.

Never did see any more about this and there were no changes in the new regulations handbook.

Never did see any more about this and there were no changes in the new regulations handbook. I would assume it wasn’t a approved change as of now!
