Well, I was not selected. Good thing I got some new private land to hunt this year. Hope others on here were drawn.

Usually going to check the results on the dnr page is way faster than waiting for an email. If you even get one.

My friend was drawn for Big Oaks opening week. He asked me to be his partner, looks like I’ll get to chase one there as well!

Well, I was not selected. Good thing I got some new private land to hunt this year. Hope others on here were drawn. Did you get an email? I haven’t gotten an email yet. I've always found that they post the results in your account on the dnr website before they email you. I may still show up for my days. I've heard that a lot of times, the people that get drawn don't show up and then they have a draw for anybody there who wants to hunt.

Thanks!

Figured so. Now that I don’t live basically across the street from it I’m not in there near as much, so didn’t know how the population was. Still drive through whenever I’m up there, but not near as often.

hunting license $20, spring turkey tag $32, game bird habitat stamp $11...$63 before you can even enter the drawing.
Then the guy who doesn't have private land (why would you draw if you had private land?) doesn't get to hunt and just donates more money...such a deal.
I'll keep the $63 and you guys can have my spot.
