Can you still get an over the counter elk tag for non residents to hunt on public ground ??

Second and Third season is OTC for elk in several GMU's. We hunted third season last year.

Sure can. I've done it and actually killed a bull elk on that trip.

Just for a REAL reference though......applications and licenses are up TWENTY FIVE percent the last 2 years......them woods are getting more crowded.
