in the last week, I've done two racks of ribs (bones pulled out clean as a whistle)...using 3-2-1 method.
And shredded pork loins you thought was a shoulder.
I totally love this thing!

I just finished assembling the Z-grill. but still need to do the intial burn off. The box was on the truck bed and my son came over today, so I grabbed him to help unload from the truck. Didn't want to mess with 132 pounds by myself.
Hope to use it soon.

I gave up on ribs when the price went stupid. Baby backs $25 now in my neighborhood. We can do without. Legs, thighs, and whole birds for $6 are good enough for this fat boy. 😛 If you havent tried a pizza yet, DO IT!!!😎

Sadly, I left this (built by hand, 8.5' tall) at my previous house (Divorce) so I do know my way around a pie.

A piece of advise from an idiot...don't try using wood chips in a pellet grill. This fool (me) did and got the auger jammed. At first I thought it was frozen, but nope, the chips were causing the trouble. Probably cost me two hours yesterday, not to mention the aggravation. I have some very small chips left over and thought they would be plenty small enough to feed through the housing. Well, they are, but they also jam the auger if they are too close to the edge of the housing then the auger passes. Lesson learned!

Columbus still had 4 in stock according to the website. You pretty much have me talked into one the next time I’m that direction.

So far, they have replaced one control panel and 2 box temp probes. Two of three leave their units outside uncovered. The Z Grill comes with a nice cover, so that would help.

I have a 12x32 deck and try to keep cooking items to one side so we can sit and enjoy the rest. Getting hard when I have the masterbuilt, grill, and griddle right now. Adding a pellet grill will really add to the mix. I think we can handle that though.

Hard to imagine saying this, so if it's any indication how I feel, I'm giving/throwing away my grill. The Masterbuilt is teetering on the fence to go as well.

Well that would clear up some room for sure. I could take the grill to the camper as the one we have is really old and falling apart, but man it still cooks pretty good. It’s an old ducane grill, which isn’t even made any more I don’t think. The grates are seasoned really well.

You have me convinced now. Plus menards has 11% off again, so the price just can’t be beat. Planning to pick one up in the morning. Saw you got rid of your grill and masterbuilt, so this thing must be amazing!

Took forever to find one in the Columbus menards, but I wasn’t leaving without it. Doing the initial burn off right now.

Does anyone know which of the mail in rebates is only good for store credit? I dont shop at Menards too often so if it's the $75one I might not pick one up.
