My 4 wheeler is running like crap, spits, sputters, dies.I will have to take it in for service as I have done all I can.
New plug, fresh non ethanol fuel…being fuel injected and ecu or ecm controlled there is not much I can do,as the problem seems to be running too rich.
At $80.00 an hour it’s not something I want to do but, it may be cheaper than just throwing parts at it and never getting to the cause.

I wish I had seen this earlier. My wife's uncle has a Honda Foreman that started running rough then a few weeks later wouldn't start at all. His ended up being a CDI module. He didn't have spark so I took a coil off of another ATV and that didn't fix it so basically only thing left was the CDI module.
We thought it was carb related also when we started also.

Looks like I was correct in thinking that it was running rich. The cause was Idle Air Control Valve not operating properly.
$200.00 parts and labor.

Mine is an older one so not efi, but the carb was bad, took it apart and cleaned it out but still nothing. I ended up buying an aftermarket carb and slapping it on, runs great and for $30 can’t complain.
