This deer was just re-scored by and entered into Boone & Crockett and they cam up with even a better score 223 & 6/8 gross and 202 & 6/8 net !! ;D Heres a pic of the finished mount for those not going to the deer and turkey expo. For those who are going I hope to get the chance to chat with you on fri or sat.This deer Grossed 223 and 6/8" and net 202 and 6/8 what a bow kill. Thanks Dean

Feel free to post away guys. Also Thanks for the kind words guys!!! If theres anyone out there with a head in the freezer I can do a mount just like the one in the pic for $250 plus panel and shipping.

Great looking mount! $250???!!! My taxidermist is up to $400. You may be getting my business next year, (Just don't tell anyone, my other taxidermist is a close friend) ;D

that is an impressive looking deer. We had one come through our shop this year that had split g1's and 2's. Maybe it was yours It might have been smaller than that one, i dont know. I've seen so many nice deer I simply cant remember.

Just $250+ for that level of craftsmanship ? Wow , I don't even trophy hunt and that impresses me ! If I ever change my mind about deer heads on the wall you'll be the guy I take them to . You may want to post your shop's location , something tells me that you're gonna be a little bit busier next season .

Thanks again for all the kind words guys. The address to my shop is 8451 South Coal Hollow Road Williamsport In 47993. If you go to mapquest.com you can get door to door directions. For those who havent made it to the expo I would run over there tomorrow and check out all the heads on the wall there are some dandys. It will also give you a chance to compare quality and workmenship. Thanks Dean
