Nesco vs-12 vacuum sealer

Another product worthy of a few words. I was looking to replace another crappy Foodsaver. They dont last long, ours never pulled down tight enough, and the seal bar got too hot to do much repetition. I borrowed a large commercial Cabelas brand sealer from esshup, and it is fabulous. BUT, I just didnt want to fork out the big money. So after seeing featherduster talk good about his, and I think it was recommended from sculver7, I found one on Amazon and tried it. I must say it has been a great addition. It has several functions for vacuum amount, and has a double seal option for positive, trouble free seals. I really like the drip tray in case liquid does get sucked out, it falls to a removable channel. So far completely trouble free, and is earning a great reputation in our house. We have done fish, mushrooms, steaks, and jerky now. I will add to this post after doing a couple deer this coming season. That will really put it thru the paces and tell the tale.
