Just wanted to say a few words about this. My boss talked me into it this spring. He has had his at least 2, if not 3 years. He fillets a lot of fish, and more importantly, a lot of big fish, as in trout and salmon. He let me use his a few times and I was sold. I bought it for my son as a bday and excellent report card present. We have cleaned more fish this year than we ever have. It's still going strong, batteries are awesome and only had to be recharged 2 or 3 times all season, and the blades are just as sharp as day one. It comes with a great carrying case, 2 batteries, and 4 blades. I wholeheartedly recommend it and say buy with confidence!

First things first, I need to learn how to become really good at filleting fish. Secondly, I need a Budda!
I hate wasting meat. It has me not wanting to fillet anymore until I get someone (besides YouTube) to show me how. Once I get comfortable with it, I'll get a Bubba and fillet away!

Really nothing to it. Same basic motion for most fish. The electric knife does make it easier on my hands and is a little safer in my opinion. I have ZERO worries about Luke filleting with it compared to a razor sharp fillet knife. I also love the fish clamp board. Open the clamp, insert head, then its almost completely hands free from the blade.
