Chasing does or running from predators? Guess you can look at it either way.

Seen a good buck following a doe after dark, and then a pair together at 10am, within the last couple days. So there is some movement happening.

Yesterday on my way to church, a forkhorn ran across the road right in front of me, nose to the ground. This was out in the middle of nowhere. He was definitely worked up over something.

I shot my buck Saturday evening with his nose practicality in a does butt. Grunting like crazy.

It's time. Young bucks mostly but even a mature buck can gets hopes up. My neighbor killed a 5.5 year old 140 class 8 point last Sat. and it was bumping does and grunting. Each day that passes it will get a little better.

Got 15 decent pictures of a fight between the two oldest bucks on my property, lasted 15 minutes. Wish I would have had my camera switched to video!!
