I recently sold my Summit Viper and I have since learned that I may be losing my main hunting area before the season even starts. No worries, I will hike a bit more than I have in a long time and I may now need an ultra light weight climber. I tested one of the LW sit and climbs earlier this week and liked everything except for the seat, so maybe the hand climber will be a bit different. Does anyone use one of the Lone Wolf hand climber setups? If so, I would love to hear about your experiences with it.

I no experience with the lone wolf climbers but I would recommend jumping on the saddle hunting wagon. Ultrlight when you walk far in and you can hunt out of any tree not just telephone pole looking trees.

I've had my hand climber for 20 years, replaced several belts and the seat and cams once. It never disappoints, deadly quiet and almost invisible, it loves poplar trees. I used to hunt so much out of it I would grow more muscle in my abs and arms throughout a season. I've hunted all day with a couple breaks before. It is an awesome tool and I need a solid seat for my back so it doesnt bother me. I would stand alot anyway. I wouldn't call it super comfortable. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

I've been very pleased with my Tree Walker brand climbing stand. It's very light and works great.

I was told that a company called Novix has bought the rights to Lone Wolf and is selling it under their name.

I have a Lone Wolf Sit and Climb. Super lightweight and portable, very solid in the tree. The seat is not real comfortable, especially compared to a summit. I have done all day sits in it but replaced the seat with a mesh replacement. Worth the money in my opinion had mine for 10 years plus with no issues. Have had other hunters at park hunters ask what I was sitting in because it was so minimal.

I did my own modifications with some paracord to add to the integrity of the seat but it is more than whisper quite and works great, especially for bow hunting.
