Enjoy the time with your family and being in the outdoors. We’ve been at the camper since Friday and will be leaving tomorrow. Then probably right back on Friday evening.

Heads up Moss.. Speaking from an experience.. If you're talking about Tippecanoe state park as you probably know the mosquitoes can be relentless I mean horribly relentless there.. Anyway hope you enjoy your visit and family time..

NOW I read this coolbreeze , Those skeeters were horrible beyond horrible , the skeeters danced on our skeeter be gone candles , they drank our bug juice in brown paper bags and red solo cups , I seen a grown man being carried off by skeeters , then it rained and they became worse . People were leaving by 8:00 am as well as us . But the first thing that went bad was they double booked our site that was paid 2 months a go so they had to find us another camp site .

That’s too bad, but at least you got another good story to add to your memories.

I went to reelfoot lake last year camping
Mosquitos were so bad my wife and I literally spent 2 minutes outside (beyond set up and takedown).
We packed up after 1 day and went to Kentucky.

For those of you who have never done it, try winter camping. No bugs, no heat, campfires feel good food taste better and if you have enough covers you will sleep like a rock.

I did that when in college. Woke up in the morning with ice hanging from inside the tent.... We camped for 10 days at 9,500' elevation 2 Novembers ago in Co when deer/elk hunting. We had a wood stove inside the wall tent so it was nice and toasty, but if you had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, be prepared to get fully dressed and undressed just to go outside........ About day 9 I realized how much I missed indoor plumbing.

That sucks! Not much fun like that. Tippy had always been bad.
We were planning a camp out in our jungle side of the yard recently. But like a flip of a light switch, the bugs and mosquitoes exploded in full force. Heck with that idea for now!
Definately plan for a spring/fall time as all conditions are more pleasant.
