My dad taught me at a very young age,
"If you don't have what you need, use what you have."

My dad taught me at a very young age, "If you don't have what you need, use what you have." Never heard that saying, I like it. Mind if I use it? As far as I know, dad did not hold a copyright to any of his witticisms. You're free to use at your leisure. My dad also said, When someone asked how he felt... "I feel more like I do now than I did before" When asked, "how are you today"... "Fair to partly cloudy. How about you?" When we would visit a restaurant and the waitress would ask if it would be one check or separate checks, dad would answer, "It doesn't matter. We're going to run out on the bill anyway!" That always got a reaction from the waitress... My dad was a great guy, constantly reminding me that, "People are like water. They need "stirred-up" now and again or they stagnate." I really miss my dad.

I especially like the "People are like water." Definitely will use that one in the future.
