I read that fish really like them in another thread on this site. I bet the turkeys will feast on them as well.

Looks like they might show up in time for the first bluegill spawn.
Does anyone know how to trap/catch them?

They have one purpose in life once they come out of the ground. Reproduce, lay the eggs and die. They don't eat as adults.
