This should be easily thumbed down by the present SCOTUS. A newly packed with Lib judges SCOTUS? Nope...it would be upheld.
The filibuster is the only thing keeping our country's democracy afloat - until the next election.

The filibuster is the only thing keeping our country's democracy afloat - until the next election. We are in trouble big time if the filibuster goes away. Our only hope if it does is to regain control of the senate and house and shove things back down their throat that they cannot stop. Will the GOP do that? I don't think they have the cajones to do that or the solidarity. |

In this situation Schumer has pretty well declared he "will change America".. IMO - to a one part system that will be totally dictatorial as they wont have to worry about losing power ever again..... |

He used to say, if you are CONVICTED of D.U.I., not merely accused, but upon conviction, you would forfeit your vehicle to the state, which would sell it at auction and keep the proceeds. The idea being, not many people could afford to lose a vehicle every time they are convicted of D.U.I. |

Taking guns away from law abiding citizens because of the evil actions of a few is like castrating all males because someone raped another person. Absolutely assinine.
As far as being worried about the state of this country:
