31 bass this morning. Just stacked up in warm wind blown coves. Good you are catching them, they are still a bit skinny.

Looking a little better but I agree with ya. Need more out but freezers full of deer right now. Took out out around 250 already.

Measure and weigh them. It's called Relative Weight, and typically if the fish in the pond are under 95% Relative Weight (except for right after spawning) it's recommended to take out a minimum 30# per surface acre of Bass. Either all sizes, or specifically target the bass (by length) that are under Relative Weight and the next inch or two both shorter and longer of those Bass.

Underestimated the cold out on the lake tonight. Ended up with 3 walleye and 2 nice perch. Didn't relies my headlight was out on my snowmobile until the ride back to the house in the dark!!! Headed north in a few weeks hope to pull a few eyes up you must have a well marked trail or know the way man I’d hate not to have a headlight on some of our trips you’d be hitting trees or breaking through the ice on the creek rides they can be bad in the daylight

Good job. I tried to catch something...swing and a miss! They have slowed way down eating in my pond hardly get a rise mid summer you’d think I had a pond of sharks eating a seal the way they go at it

With the nice weather going downhill I thought I would hit the pond one more time and had great results. The wind is still howling out of the West the temps are dropping and the fish were active. Using a small jig with a tiny piece of a power bait tipped with a wax worm. I was fishing a bay on the North end of the pond that stays warm and has a small feeder drainage ditch spilling into it. Photos say it all.

My alternate is Sams Club selling walleye filets for $11/pound in Bloomington 11 dollars is cost effective compared to what I spend to get 4 eyes Just like hunting don’t add it up or you will quit cause Kroger would be a lot cheaper to fill the freezer

23 to 25 for a package is good for city folk! I am not sure what I would spend my $ on if I didn't buy lures, boats, electronics etc just to go catch sauger on a lead head and minnow

We use a ice hut that you pull behind the sled with a Mr Heater most of time we just stand or sit on the sled if the weather decent.
Lot of times we start a fire and cook or make coffee if we are out most of the day
